Practical AI Coding — Mastering Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot

A hands-on course for using AI coding tools at a professional level. Centered on Claude Code, all 7 chapters walk through setup and permissions, choosing the right tool for the job, giving good instructions (vibe and spec-driven), handling errors, extensions, and managing cost.

About this course

Who this course is for

  • You already write code, but you use AI editors for little more than autocomplete
  • Reviewing the code AI writes is costing you more time than it saves
  • You want a feel for permissions and cost before rolling AI out to your team

What you will be able to do

  • Choose between Claude Code, Cursor and Copilot depending on the situation
  • Switch deliberately between vibe coding and spec-driven work, and cut down on rework
  • Configure things so you neither hand out too much permission nor burn through tokens

Prerequisites

Basic programming experience and comfort with a terminal. Any language is fine.

Suggested pace

Seven chapters, 15 to 20 minutes each. It sticks best if you run everything yourself as you read.
